Welcome to First Christian Church

FCC is a vibrant, welcoming community of Christians committed to helping imperfect people become more like the perfect Savior, Jesus. Welcome home.

Below you will find FAQs to help you get to know a little bit about us. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.

Q. What does FCC believe?

We have a special page that explains that! LEARN MORE

Q. What are the services like?

A. Our 9:00am Traditional Worship service incorporates various traditional elements, such as organ and piano music, a choir, special music, unified readings, and Scripture reading. The Pastor presents a relevant, Scripture-based sermon that’s easy to understand and apply (which is the same in both services).

Our 11:00am Modern Worship service incorporates casual, modern elements, such as a praise band with guitars, drums, etc., vocalists, modern praise songs, Scripture readings, and other creative elements. The Pastor presents a relevant, Scripture-based sermon that’s easy to understand and apply (which is the same in both services).

Both services last about an hour. Both services celebrate Communion (or “Lord’s Supper”) each week, in celebration of the saving death of Jesus.

Q. What should I wear?

A. Wear whatever makes you comfortable. Some wear a suit and tie and some wear shorts and t-shirts.

Q. What about my children?

A. The Children’s Ministry is for ages birth through 5th grade.  Our nursery children will enjoy playtime, story time and a snack time each Sunday in a safe and loving environment. Children 3 years - Kindergarten will explore the fundamentals of our faith through Bible stories, crafts, and games and children 1st - 5th grade will experience the major stories of the Bible through kid-friendly multimedia workshops, such as art, science, movies, games, and cooking.

We would love to see you soon!

First Christian Church exists to make disciples of Jesus. To make disciples of Jesus, First Christian’s ministries are committed to teaching disciples to obey everything that Jesus commanded (Matt. 28:19), expressed by Gather, Grow, Go. We Gather to worship and care for our community; we Grow to be like Jesus; we Go to share the gospel and serve the world.
