God’s View of Sexuality (June 25-August 20)
Very few people feel comfortable talking about sex and sexuality. Our world, though, has made it impossible to ignore the myriad of questions we have about the topic. Fortunately, God has answers. As followers of Jesus, we want to know what God thinks about sex and sexuality so that we can live according to his ways and find the blessing that he brings to us. But even then, there are a lot of questions being raised today within the church about what is right. Does God care who I sleep with? What does it matter if two (or more) adults consent to a sexual relationship, or freely engage in some form of sexual activity, so long as no one gets hurt?
Is being attracted to people of the same sex a sin? Is there something wrong with me if that’s true of me?
We need to face questions like these honestly and fairly. So, bring your own questions, your Bibles, a notebook, pen, a friend, and a heart ready to learn to this class after the morning worship service.
We’ll offer a light meal in the fellowship hall to anyone who wants it beginning at 11:30; the class itself will begin at noon and last approximately 60-75 minutes each week.
