Are you ready to do something instead of sitting inside hoping you don’t catch a virus? Do
you like waffles? If you can say ‘yes’ to both of those questions, you’re invited to join your
fellow FCC adventurers on a day trip to Lindsborg, Kansas for “Vaffeldagen” on Saturday,
March 26. Vaffeldagen (properly, Våffeldagen) is the Swedish word for “Waffle Day.”
International Waffle Day is a Scandinavian holiday (March 25), and it’s celebrated in
Lindsborg (“Little Sweden”) as a chance for some goofy fun in honor of all things waffly. You
can eat waffles, play waffle games, and meet waffle people. You don’t even have to be
Swedish to enjoy the day (but it helps!). Come along, we’ll have some fun! We’ll depart
from the FCC parking lot at 7:45 am on the 26th (or just meet us in Lindsborg after 10 am.)
