“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May those who love you be secure.
May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.’”
Psalm 122:6-7 New International Version (NIV)

Good news, church family! After having gone through a trial run last Sunday, your Elder Board has agreed that worship will resume in the FCC Sanctuary on Sunday June 14th. That’s this coming Sunday! As always, we encourage anyone who does not feel comfortable, anyone who has been in
contact with another positive case, or anyone showing symptoms of the COVID virus to please stay at home and continue to worship with us on the web site. If you’re planning to attend, here’s how you can be prepared:

  • Have a mask to wear. Those without a mask will be given one at the entrance. Gloves will not be required, but there will be hand sanitizer for everyone to use.
  • Plan to arrive early. The service begins at 9:45. In order to be in your seat by then, you will have to have been through the screening process commencing at the SE entrance.

What should I expect when I arrive? Have your mask on and be ready to answer the questions regarding symptoms and exposure. A greeter will take your temperature using a no-touch thermometer and your attendance will be listed. You will then proceed through the Fellowship Hall towards the sanctuary, using hand sanitizer at one of the tables, and then be escorted for seating in the sanctuary. Signs and tape markings will also direct you where to sit. A lock box for offering will be available at the back of the sanctuary for no-touch deposit. During worship, communion will be served to you individually. When the service is concluded, you may exit through the wooden doors at the back of the sanctuary or back through Fellowship Hall as you came in. The restrooms between the offices and sanctuary will be available for use, but can only be accessed from the foyer hallway. There will be no group classes or any other gatherings on the church campus until further notice.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact an Elder, Trustee, or Pastor Barry.

Looking forward to seeing all your smiling eyes,
Hyacinth Self, Elder Chair

I started coming to service just before Covid19 changed the world. I would like to come with my friend from Velocity Church, Lynn. Our question concerns seating. Are we in the pews 6 feet apart and if so what is the seating capacity and do we need to apply for a seat? Thank you for the Sunday service online. I’m there every Sunday. Bob
